There is no other turntable like this in the world. This innovative and modular design rises just over 6 inches off the ground, making it the lowest turntable in its class. It has a capacity of up to 4 tons and spins at up to 4 RPM, easily handling cars and sets. It also features an independent 20-amp power source in the center for any items on the surface requiring power. It is variable speed and reversible. |

Commutator Power |
JMT's 10 & 18 Foot Turntables are the product of over one year of research, development, construction and outfitting. We examined all of the extra-large and car turntable designs on the market to find the right balance of strength and portability. This innovative design encompasses many of the advantages of other car turntables while reducing the disadvantages. Simply put, there is no other turntable like it in the world. |
This turntable can hold four tons of weight on up to 78 square feet of surface area, accommodating cars, small trucks, motorcycles, boats, and small film sets. Cars can easily roll onto its surface with our included ramps. Its size, height and power make it versatile for the demands of film sets and trade shows. It can be expanded up to 12 feet with steel decking on top (we do not rent steel deck). |
Incorporated into the central hub of the turntable is a commutator power source. The commutator uses a slip ring to transmit power without using cords, providing up to 20 amps of 115 volt power. No matter how many revolutions, power can be continuously supplied to the center. Not only can it power lights or electrical products, but a second turntable can be placed on top to operate in the same or opposite direction. It can also be used to light under cars. |

Operation |
Unlike other turntables that require anywhere from four to six people to move and assemble, this one only requires two people. It can be assembled or disassembled in less than one hour. |
|
The turntable comes in four cases that can fit through a 30 inch standard doorframe. It can be loaded on standard cube-truck lift-gates. |
A technician accompanies the turntable on every job. This ensures that the turntable is set up quickly and properly and has an operator at all times. |
